Whitehall Amenity Association

The Whitehall Amenities Association is a separate organization from WPOA and has its own Covenants and Restrictions, and By-Laws.  The Amenity Association includes a junior olympic size pool with gazebo area and bathhouse, a children’s playground and picnic area, two regulation tennis courts, and multi use ball fields.  It also includes some other property designated as green areas.  Membership in the Amenities Association is approximately 488 homes out of 738.

The pool, playground and tennis courts are Whitehall’s signature activities.  We host an annual Teen party, kid’s Christmas party and Easter egg hunt every year.  The WPOA Social Committee is charged with planning these activities and is funded by the two associations.

The pool typically opens on April 1st and closes around October 31st.  We have lifeguards employed at the pool during the day.  Pool hours are 6am-10pm except on Thursday when it closes at 5pm for cleaning and reopens on Friday at 10am.  Both the playground/picnic area and pool gazebo area are available for rent for semiprivate parties.  Please see Pool and Playground Policies for instructions.

The tennis courts are open year around from 6am to 10pm, and are illuminated with timed lights.  The rules regarding their use can be found here. The playground is also open year around during daylight hours only.

We also have a partnership with the city of North Charleston to use the ball fields for city leagues including Tiny Tot Soccer and T-ball.  Feedback from our residents on both the T-Ball and Tiny Tot Soccer seasons has been overwhelmingly positive. Best of all, our children are having a lot of fun, and get to play without having to travel beyond the neighborhood.  T-Ball season is April/May and Tiny Tots Soccer is October/November.

The Amenity Center is run by a 7 member volunteer board of homeowners and the Property management is provided by Community Association Services (CAS) to manage the day-to-day operation of the amenities.  Any questions regarding the Amenity association should be directed to CAS (767-3949) or a sitting Amenity board member.  New access keys can be obtained from CAS.
